SoundPond brings an exciting new concept in internet broadcasting to Australia. Broadcasting audio and video live from their Adelaide studios 7 days a week, 14 hours a day, SoundPond showcases some of the city’s most exciting DJ talent, mixing up electronic dance music across many different genres. A chatroom provides viewers the ability to interact with the DJs in the studio as well as the other viewers, providing a fully interactive experience. The Beatshed is our “available for hire” private dj + production studio, and we offer educational courses in both areas. This studio has over $15,000 of DJ and Music Production equipment installed, and is available to hire from only $20 an hour!!! The Beatshed has been made possible by the generous support of “Allans Billy Hyde” , SA’s greatest local music company. All gear was donated for our use on a long-term hire arrangement. Without their help this entire concept, fostering the next generation of talent by passing on skills from the last, would not be possible! Soundpond.net, Beatshed and Arena Internet Cafe are all located in the same building at 264 Rundle St, Adelaide. The entrance is a single door at street level, with a staircase to Level 1. The Arena Net Cafe front counter staff can direct you during your first visit. The entrance is located between Cafe Piatto and Cafe Al Fresco, directly across Rundle St from Ebenezer Place.
Please Note : Beatshed and Soundpond.net studios are NOT open to the general public, without appointment. The Net Cafe however, is a great place to check emails, print assignments or whatever you need to do online!
