Meet some of the crew:
Neotek
An up and coming Harder-styles DJ that has been on the Adelaide scene for 3 years, mixing his way up to playing on the same bill as Toneshifterz. Neotek has also shows like Ravelings where DJ’s Weaver and AMS were headlining. Neotek organised the last hard Pond Jam and did such a great job that we are very happy to have him back.
Submission
Submission has been a mainstay of the Adelaide hard dance scene for more than 12 years with his hard edged, energy, tech and psy driven trance sound. He has played gigs across Australia and Europe and has had 2 releases on the Nu NRG collective’s DYNAMIX label. Submission has been nominated as both hard house DJ and trance DJ at the SADMA’s and has held residencies Rush, Chemistry, Le Rox & Traffic, playing all the big parties along the way including Enchanted, Adrenaline, and System 6. More recently, Submission has played at Godskitchen, Once Upon A Time, Karim, Kevin Energy and MC Sharkey @ HQ.
Tantrum
Starting DJing in 2004, Hardcore DJ Tantrum has played all around Adelaide and alongside some of the biggest internationals hardcore has to offer- Neophyte, Tha Playah, Evil Activities & Endymion, to name a few.
Traktion
DJ Traktion made his debut into the Adelaide hard dance scene in mid-2009 as a runner up in the Defqon1 / In The Mix DJ Competition. He has supported big international names Showtek, Zany, D-Block & S-Te-Fan and Tha Playah, and Australian acts Bioweapon, Toneshifterz, Weaver, AMS, Miss Tracy, Hellraiser, Code Black, Nick Fish and Amber Savage just to name a few. Traktion describes his devotion to hardstyle as “almost religious”.
Kaedance
A relative newcomer to the scene, DJ Kaedance has been spinning harder edge dance sounds since early 2011. Since then, Kaedance has supported acts such as Karim, Kevin Energy and Sharkey; and played at Godskitchen and Summadayze. Kaedance is also behind the HTFU Adelaide nights at HQ.
Skippy
Skippy is known mostly for playing house, UK bass and dubstep but the Soundpond.net co- founder always had a blast at harder music raves and events in years gone by. When asked by Neotek to join in on the next hard Pond Jam, Skippy jumped at the chance. Skippy was named Adelaide’s hottest DJ of 2011 by Onion Magazine and also won the 2011 Spin DJ comp, but seeing if his skills translate to hardstyle might be an interesting sight!
